Answering the question of whether Ben Bernanke is doing a good job is not as easy as it might appear at first glance. In fact the question may not be possible to answer.

Is the Investing Industry Trustworthy?

Malevolence or incompetence? Why were the people we were paying to take care of our money asleep at the wheel when the financial crisis hit. Was their inability to protect us a mistake or something more sinister? Are members of the investing industry trustworthy or more appropriately, how far can you trust them?

Is the Financial Sector Evil?

The financial sector is in the midst of a huge backlash.  While they've never enjoyed any particular enthusiasm from the average worker, they were always viewed a necessary evil at a minimum.  In light of the damning evidence revealed during the financial crisis there seems to be some credibility that these people were nothing more than parasites.  Even more clear is that many of them were bad at their jobs and negligent.  This does not necessarily imply malevolence.

When Will the Mortgage Crisis End?

While many try to convince themselves that the mortgage crisis is nearing an end, there is evidence to suggest that the worst is yet to come. While sub-prime mortgage defaults may be on the decline, other types of mortgages are just beginning to default. How will we know when we've hit the bottom?
